Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify potential issues. Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, while ensuring patient comfort. Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Capture and review medical imaging and assist in the interpretation of radiographs for accurate diagnosis. Monitor vital signs as part of the initial patient assessment process. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Experience Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus, as you will be working with patients of all ages. Strong understanding of documentation review processes and compliance with HIPAA standards. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
