Orthodontic Dental Assistant - Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics of Jackson - Jackson, MI

We are seeking to hire an outstanding Orthodontic Dental Assistant that enjoys being a team player and desires growth in their career. Dental Assistant must be open to learning Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. Individual will work side by side with multiple Dentists and have opportunities to work with patients of all ages within this dental practice. This person must be flexible, reliable, open to coaching/mentoring, self motivated, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Full time hours are available if you are willing to travel to our Orthodontist's second office. Responsibilities include: Setting up treatment rooms - Orthodontics & Pediatrics Instrument sterilization and infection control Administrative tasks such as calling patients, scheduling appointments, billing, ordering supplies iTero scanning, taking x-rays Placing/adjusting wires and brackets Delivering clear aligners such as Invisalign Educating patients/parents regarding treatment, keeping proper oral health Assisting multiple providers with procedures Guiding daily clinical schedule Clinical documentation for each appointment assisted Lead with Kindness: Consistent and thoughtful communication between all team members.
