Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice located in Vacaville. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist with dental procedures, and promote overall oral health. Duties Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures Maintain accurate patient records using Softdent/Carestream or similar dental management software Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments and ensure sterilization protocols are followed Manage patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy Support pediatric patients by creating a comfortable environment during visits Keep abreast of new developments in dental hygiene practices, including orthodontics when applicable Skills Proficiency in Soft/Carestream or other dental management software is preferred Knowledge of periodontal and general dentistry procedures Bilingual abilities are a plus not required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately Ability to work well within a team while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of care Prior experience in a dental office setting is desirable This position offers a rewarding opportunity for licensed Dental Hygienists committed to improving patients’ oral health through compassionate care and professional expertise.
