About us Small well established privately owned 1 Doctor general practice seeking full time hygienist 30 hours a week. Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take digital dental x-rays - Conduct oral health assessments and provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Assist the dentist during dental procedures when needed - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and Dexis - Follow infection control and equipment maintenance protocols to ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment Qualifications: - Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Missouri - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting oral health Note: Additional qualifications may be required based on specific job requirements or the needs of the dental practice.
