Overview Meridian Dental Center is seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused EDFA / Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing dental team. Our office proudly supports a fast-paced environment with 3 doctors dedicated to providing high-quality dental and orthodontic care to our patients. We are looking for a team member who is professional, positive, organized, and passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident with their dental experience. Responsibilities Assist doctors during dental and orthodontic procedures Perform EDFA duties within state guidelines Take digital X-rays, impressions, scans, and photographs Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments Assist with orthodontic adjustments and patient education Maintain accurate patient records and charting Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards Support team members to maintain efficient patient flow Qualifications EDFA certification required Orthodontic assisting experience preferred Current X-ray certification Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Positive attitude and professional appearance Experience with dental software preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth and continued learning Full-time position Modern and busy multi-doctor practice This role offers a rewarding opportunity to grow within a supportive Dental office.
