Registered Dental Hygienist - Smile Wellness - Bedminster, NJ

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist with training or certification in myofunctional therapy to join a modern, airway-focused dental practice in Bedminster, New Jersey . This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a doctor-led, multidisciplinary clinical team in a practice centered on airway health, pediatric development, and functional dentistry . We are looking for someone who is passionate about expanding their role beyond traditional hygiene and contributing to a growing airway-centered practice. About the Role This position is ideal for a hygienist who has completed coursework or certification in orofacial myofunctional therapy and is interested in incorporating airway and functional oral health principles into patient education and preventive care (within scope of practice). You will work closely with the clinical team in a practice focused on airway development, pediatric growth guidance, and early intervention care for children and families . Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care Deliver high-quality patient education related to oral function and airway health (within scope) Support early identification of myofunctional and airway-related concerns Collaborate with the doctor in treatment planning discussions Assist in educating families on oral habits, breathing patterns, and development Support patient engagement and clinical flow in a specialty-integrated practice Ideal Candidate Licensed Dental Hygienist (required) Training or certification in myofunctional therapy (preferred or in progress) Strong interest in airway health, pediatric development, and functional dentistry Excellent communication and patient education skills Comfortable working in a collaborative specialty environment Interest in patient education, outreach, or clinical marketing support is a plus Motivated to grow within an airway-focused, modern dental practice About the Practice We are a modern, airway-focused dental practice serving the Bedminster, NJ community with an emphasis on pediatric care, functional dentistry, and interdisciplinary treatment planning.
