Pediatric Dental Hygienist - Caring Smiles - Rutherford, NJ

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, works well in a collaborative environment, and is willing to contribute both clinically and administratively to help ensure the smooth operation of the practice. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and preventive procedures Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care Assist the dentist during examinations as needed Monitor patient comfort and provide exceptional patient care Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines Work collaboratively with the dental team to create a positive patient experience Be a strong team player and assist coworkers when needed During downtime, support the front desk and administrative team with tasks such as: Scheduling appointments Confirming patient visits Answering phones. Qualifications Active Registered Dental Hygienist license CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Experience with open -dental software is a plus What We’re Looking For We value someone who is not only clinically skilled but also dependable, flexible, and eager to contribute to the success of the entire office.
