Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate person for our Front Desk / Dental Assistant Hybrid role! This energetic role combines front office responsibilities with clinical assisting duties, creating a seamless patient experience from check-in to treatment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a welcoming environment that prioritizes patient care and operational excellence. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and schedule appointments efficiently using Denticon. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain aseptic technique during procedures to uphold infection control standards. Assist our dentist chairside during various procedures including restorative, endodontics, periodontics, implant surgery, and orthodontic treatments. Take dental X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort. Record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant medical documentation accurately. Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing medical records, and handling billing inquiries. Qualifications Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in dental assisting and front desk duties. Proficiency with dental software is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Ability to perform chairside assisting including taking vital signs, medical imaging, X-ray procedures, and four-handed dentistry techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages.
