Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Las Vegas, NV

We’re looking for a skilled and confident Dental Hygienist who not only delivers excellent clinical care—but also feels comfortable educating patients and discussing treatment recommendations.
Requirements
- Comfortable explaining conditions like gum disease in simple terms
- Confident discussing treatment plans and helping patients understand their needs
- Ability to build trust and improve case acceptance
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing
- CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of preventive dental care and periodontal therapy
- Ability to take and interpret dental X-rays and intra oral images
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Compassionate, friendly, and patient-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
Prior experience in a dental office preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
Responsibilities
You’ll play a key part in helping patients understand their oral health—especially conditions like periodontal disease and the importance of treatments such as deep cleanings. We value hygienists who can connect, educate, and guide patients toward accepting necessary care.
Additionally daily responsibilities include:
- Review and update medical and dental histories
- Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) when needed
- Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments (probing, charting, bleeding points, recession)
- Administer local anesthesia and laser therapy
- Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants when appropriate
- Identify oral health issues and communicate findings to the dentist
- Assist in maintaining an efficient patient flow and schedule
- Communicate effectively with the dentist and team regarding patient needs
- Ensure operatory is properly cleaned, stocked, and prepared between patients
- Support a positive, professional, and welcoming office environment
