Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA
Responsibilities â£Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested â£Set-up and clean-up materials and equipment needed for dental procedures including sterilization â£Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials â£Take diagnostic radiographs â£Perform child prophylaxis and fluoride treatment, dental sealants, monitor nitrous oxide analgesic â£Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist â£Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned by the doctor Qualifications â£High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required â£Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF) â£Current CPR certification preferred â£Radiology certification required â£Excellent communication and interpersonal skills â£Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines â£Possess a professional and positive attitude â£Good with children â£Experience with pediatric dentistry a plus Pay: $18.00 - $29.00 per hour Benefits: On-the-job training License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
