This is a chairside role. Youâll work directly alongside our orthodontist, Dr. Jeff, supporting patient care from the moment someone sits down to the moment they walk out smiling. Your Schedule Regular: Mon, Tue, Wed: 8:00am â 5:00pm | 1-hour lunch Thu: 7:00am â 4:00pm | 1-hour lunch Fri: 8:00am â 4:00pm | 1-hour lunch Summer (June through mid-August): Mon, Wed: 8:00am â 5:00pm | 1-hour lunch Tue, Thu: 7:00am â 3:30pm | 40-minute lunch Fri: 8:00am â 4:00pm | 1-hour lunch Full-time, 35â40 hours/week. When the practice does well, the team shares in it Hands-on mentorship from an experienced clinical lead Continuing education support to advance your certifications and career What Youâll Do Assist chairside during bonding, adjustments, appliance fittings, and removals Greet and seat patients, evaluate oral hygiene, and support comfort throughout treatment Take X-rays, digital impressions (iTero), and intraoral and extraoral photographs Document treatment records accurately and keep practice systems current Follow all sterilization, infection control, and OSHA/CDC protocols without exception Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and what to expect during treatment Prepare models, fabricate retainers, and support indirect bonding prep Manage inventory, supplies, and clinical spaces with ownership Who Thrives Here Prior experience as a dental or orthodontic assistant is preferred. RDA or OA certification is a strong plus. If your X-ray cert or infection control course is still in progress, apply anyway. We have access to courses and we invest in the right people. How quickly we can move depends on where you are in the process, so be upfront about that in your application. You manage your chair, and your time without being prompted and you chip in to help your fellow teammates when you don't have a patient. You communicate clearly with patients and teammates. You handle sensitive clinical procedures calmly, and you understand that reliability and professionalism arenât optional in a patient-facing role.
