Full-Time Dental Assistant We are a doctor-owned practice looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team at Back Mountain Pediatric Dentistry. We specialize in providing excellent and empathetic care for infants, children, adolescents, and those with special health care needs. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and has a passion for providing excellent patient care. Pay: You will earn a competitive hourly pay based on your experience. Range from $18.00-23.00 dollars per hour raises based on regular job performance evaluations. Benefits: Paid time off and sick time, Holiday Pay, Employee discount, Medical and Vision Insurance Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during dental procedures, for example preparing and arranging the dental instruments, materials, and medications needed for each treatment Sterilize dental instruments and equipment Take dental radiographs Provide patient education oral hygiene and post-operative care Perform dental charting and documentation in electronic health records systems for medical documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Dental Assistant certification or relevant experience is preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments preferred but not required Previous experience working in a pediatric setting is preferred but not required Proficiency in computer skills Excellent communication skills, professional, and empathetic attitude. Team spirit and strong desire to grow. Relevant experience or certifications would be preferred but arenât required for the right candidate. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in dentistry, have a hard-working personality and willingness to learn. You donât have to be an expert in dentistry - you just need to have the right attitude and drive to succeed!
