Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Alexandria, VA
Overview: Are you an experienced Dental Assistant looking to join a supportive, patient-focused team? Bright Now! Dental supported by Smile Brands in Alexandria is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and deliver exceptional patient care. Schedule (days/hours): Mon- Wed8 AM to 5 PM, Thur 8 AM to 6 PM , Fri 8AM to 2 PM, and 1 Sat 8AM to 2 PM Responsibilities: Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take and process dental X-rays Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Ensure smooth patient flow and a positive clinical experience Qualifications: XRAY certification Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Compensation: $21-23/hr About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (âPTOâ), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
