```Job Summary``` We are seeking a passionate, compassionate, and wellness driven Dental Hygienist to join our boutique dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral health care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform preventive and therapeutic procedures using the Guided Biofilm Therapy protocol, provide oral hygiene instructions, and patient education. Our practice utilizes the latest technology to enhance clinical outcomes and the patient experience. Our hygiene department is equip with GBT AIRFLOW PROPHYLAXIS MASTER, voice activated periodontal charting, Oral ID and iTero scanner. If you are passionate about oral and systemic health and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you! ```Duties``` - Perform preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene procedures - Take digital dental x-rays and wellness scans - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral hygiene instructions -Educate patients on dental care to help them reach optimal health -Salivary diagnostics - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures ```Experience``` To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist - Proficiency in medical coding and knowledge of Dentrix software is preferred - Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices - Experience assisting the dentist during procedures is a plus - Familiarity with imaging software such as Dexis, Carestream, and iTero is an advantage We offer competitive compensation and opportunities for professional development.
