Duties Assist orthodontists during patient procedures Prepare treatment areas, sterilize instruments, and maintain aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards Take dental X-rays and utilize 3D scanners for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Manage chart documentation to include appoint details and treatment progress Educate patients on orthodontic care, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment instructions using clear dental terminology Operate software systems such Dolphin to document treatments and update patient information accurately Requirements Proven experience in dental assisting within a clinical setting, preferably with orthodontic procedures Ability to perform X-ray imaging accurately while adhering to safety standards for vital signs monitoring and radiation safety Familiarity with dental terminology related to orthodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatrics Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with patients.
