Lead Dental Assistant - Wilson Family Dental - Wilmington, NC

Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Set up and prepare treatment rooms and instruments. Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and intraoral photos. Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures. Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies. Maintain dental equipment and ensure all instruments are sterilized. Help organize and maintain lab and sterilization areas. Requirements: Proven experience as a dental assistant. Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods. Understanding of health and safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Diploma in dental assisting is preferred; certification from an accredited dental assistant program is a plus.
