A Dental Assistant plays a vital role in both the patient experience and the success of our clinical team. The ideal candidate understands that building trust with patients while proactively supporting the doctor and clinical team are essential parts of the role. Key responsibilities include: Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures Helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their visit Treatment room setup, turnover, and organization Instrument sterilization and infection control procedures Taking digital radiographs and intraoral photographs Accurate clinical documentation and patient record maintenance Reinforcing oral health education and helping patients better understand their care Inventory support and operatory supply management Helping maintain an efficient clinical schedule and patient flow throughout the day Maintaining compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and office protocols Contributing to an efficient, positive, and team-oriented clinical environment There is a significant amount to learn in this position, and we are looking for someone who is excited by that opportunity and eager to grow alongside an experienced and supportive team. The Ideal Candidate is/has: Outgoing, personable, and able to quickly build trust with patients, particularly those suffering from pain, dental anxiety, or stress. Excited by challenges and eager to learn. There is a significant amount to learn in this position, and the ideal candidate embraces coaching, direction, and continuous learning. Receptive to coaching, direction, and constructive feedback. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with patients, doctors, and teammates. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Demonstrates good manual dexterity and the ability to learn and perform hands-on clinical tasks. Basic computer and typing proficiency, along with the ability to learn new software and technology efficiently. Able to work effectively within an established team and contribute to a culture of accountability, professionalism, and mutual support. Self-motivated and observant, with the ability to recognize what needs to be done and take appropriate action.
