Dental Assistant (Cross-Trained Clinical & Front Office)

We are looking for a motivated Dental Assistant who wants to grow beyond traditional assisting duties and become a valuable cross-trained team member.

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant who is interested in both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with patients, stays organized, and is willing to learn all aspects of a successful dental practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to expand their skill set and grow within a practice long-term.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during restorative, cosmetic, and general dentistry procedures
• Taking digital radiographs
• Sterilization and infection control
• Room setup and breakdown
• Taking impressions and digital scans
• Fabricating temporary crowns (experience preferred but not required)
• Assisting with Invisalign and cosmetic cases
• Maintaining inventory and stocking operatories
• Patient education and post-operative instructions

Front Office Responsibilities

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments
• Confirming appointments and managing recalls
• Checking patients in and out
• Verifying insurance benefits
• Presenting treatment plans
• Collecting payments and financing paperwork
• Managing patient communication and follow-up

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant experience preferred
• X-Ray Certification required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable learning both clinical and administrative tasks
• Experience with Open Dental is a plus
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable transportation

Schedule

Part-Time

• Monday
• Wednesday
• Friday

Additional days may become available as the practice continues to grow.
