Overview ***Only Dental Assistants with Experience in a Dental Office Accepted*** Join our implant dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! In this energetic role, you will support dentists in providing comprehensive dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth workflow within our modern dental clinic. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and patient communication will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. Duties Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and care. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners are ready for use. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic to ensure accurate medical documentation and coding. Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging procedures when necessary, especially in pediatric or medically complex cases. Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and managing patient flow seamlessly. Maintain a sterile environment through aseptic technique and infection control standards to prevent cross-contamination. Educate patients on dental terminology, post-treatment care, and oral hygiene practices to promote ongoing health. Assist with the use of advanced technology such as 3D scanners for accurate diagnostics and treatment planning. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant in a fast-paced dental clinic setting. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with EMR systems including Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation. Experience performing X-ray procedures in compliance with safety standards; certification in radiography preferred. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable to support young patients effectively. Ability to work efficiently in general dentistry environments as well as specialized areas like prosthodontics or endodontics. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members including dental receptionists and hygienists while providing outstanding patient care.
