Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Houston, TX
Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the dental office's phone system - Verify patients' insurance coverage and collect necessary information for billing purposes - Assist with patient registration and update patient records as needed - Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns - Maintain a clean and organized reception area Qualifications: - Previous experience working as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications Please note that due to the nature of the dental industry, there may be occasional emergencies or urgent situations that require the receptionist's assistance. Flexibility and the ability to handle such situations calmly and efficiently are important qualities for this role. Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour Work Location: In person
