Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Orlando, FL
Southpark Dental Group is seeking a skilled, Certified Dental Assistant with an exceptional personality to join our family-oriented team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide quality care to our patients in our high-tech, busy, practice. Monday - Friday plus one Saturday per month. Excellent communication skills, being comfortable presenting treatment, and willingness to help your teammates are attributes we are looking for in the perfect candidate. Eaglesoft proficiency is preferred. *Duties* - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures such as fillings, extractions, crown & bridge, and root canals, implants - Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft - Perform four-handed dentistry techniques - Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed *Requirements* - Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program - Proficiency in scanning (itero scanner) and taking x-rays - Experience with general dentistry practices (must have a min of 3 years, specialty not included) - Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills - Ability to work well in a team environment and multitask effectively - Cerec crowns, implants, Zoom bleaching, taking impressions, denture adjustments - Must have expanded functions, radiology Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $21.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching AD&D insurance Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee discount Free parking Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Pet insurance Referral program Safety equipment provided Vision insurance Experience: general dental assisting: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: Radiology Certificiate (Required) Ability to Commute: Orlando, FL 32819 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Orlando, FL 32819: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
