Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Pediatric Dental Office Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. Your energetic approach, combined with strong organizational skills, will help coordinate appointments, manage patient records, and facilitate effective communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies. Responsibilities Greet patients and their families warmly, creating a friendly and professional first impression Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verifications with accuracy Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting co-pays and updating patient information in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or Meditech Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and handling inquiries promptly Maintain accurate dental records, process intake forms, and review documentation for completeness and correctness Qualifications Proven experience as a medical or dental receptionist with clinic or office experience in a pediatric or dental setting preferred Strong knowledge Dentrix, or similar platforms preferred Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data entry Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations in bilingual (ENGLISH AND SPANISH) environments Knowledge of dental terminology and health information management standards such as HIPAA is preferred Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks ENGLIGH AND SPANISH IS A MUST Join us to make a meaningful difference in childrenâs lives by providing outstanding administrative support in a lively, supportive pediatric dental environment.
