Position Overview We are looking for a friendly, dependable Orthodontic Assistant to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will work directly with the orthodontist to deliver exceptional patient care, support clinical procedures, and help create a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and orthodontic procedures. Prepare treatment areas and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. Take X-rays, digital scans, and patient records as needed. Educate patients on treatment progress, oral hygiene, and appliance care. Ensure patient comfort and provide a welcoming, supportive experience. Maintain accurate records and follow HIPAA and infection control protocols. Assist with scheduling, patient communication, and other office tasks as needed. Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred, but we are happy to train the right person. Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Comfortable working with patients of all ages. Ability to thrive in a team-focused, patient-centered environment.
