Responsibilities Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment plans Review medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations Support the dental team with general dentistry procedures, maintaining a smooth workflow and excellent patient experience Requirements Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for documentation and record management Experience in pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is highly desirable Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical coding Skilled in chairside assisting, medical records review, and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems usage Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medical imaging, and patient assessment accurately Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to improving oral health through exceptional care!
