Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using dental office management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments with precision and enthusiasm Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing using systems like Meditech, Epic, or Athenahealth Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly Maintain accurate medical records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with insurance verification, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and medical billing processes Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry (10 key typing), and managing electronic health records (EHR systems like eClinicalWorks or Meditech) Experience Prior experience as a Medical or Dental Receptionist in a clinical setting is essential Proficiency with dental office management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and insurance procedures including Medicare is highly desirable Experience handling medical billing, documentation review, and health information management required Excellent computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Demonstrated customer service excellence in a healthcare environment with strong phone etiquette and clerical skills Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional dental care!
