Brand new facility with all new chairs and equipment. - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment - Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in dental software system Open Dental - Schedule and manage patient appointments Skills: - Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and techniques - Proficient in using dental software - Strong communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients - Attention to detail for accurate documentation and record keeping - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals - Knowledge of medical coding for accurate billing and insurance claims Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and skills.
