Dental Assistant (RDA/DA) – Founding Team Member New Dental Practice in San Leandro

We are a new, patient-centered dental practice opening this summer and are looking for the right first few team members to grow with us from the ground up.

This role is ideal for a dental assistant who is not just looking for a job, but who enjoys building systems, taking ownership, and helping shape a practice from early days. You’ll work closely with the doctor and leadership to establish workflows, create a warm patient experience, and help set the tone for the practice long-term.

What we’re looking for:

• Mid-level experience as a Dental Assistant or RDA (experience preferred, but not rigid)
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and health information management standards
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
• Entrepreneurial mindset – comfortable helping establish processes and workflows in a new office
• Well-versed in dental insurance and able to support front/back office coordination as needed
• X-ray certified (required)
• Multilingual is a plus (Spanish, or other languages strongly welcomed)
• Warm, friendly, and family-oriented bedside manner
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup environment

Schedule:

• Full-time
• 4 days per week
• Must be available to work on Saturday
