Skills: Be well organized Pay great attention to detail Possess excellent communication skills Possess a positive attitude Be a team player and work well within a team Have the ability to build connections with people Be willing to learn and grow within the practice Ensure excellent customer service to both patients and their families Provide excellent follow through with tasks Maintain a professional demeanor Be dependable Responsibilities Provide quality care to patients Prepare treatment plans Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials as needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Perform regulated non-surgical procedures Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean, organized, and well-stocked Schedule appointments Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Maintain accurate patient records Understanding of health & safety regulations Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Dental assistant experience On the job training, CPR, OSHA, HIPAA, and radiation certifications will be provided.
