Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Cortez, CO
We are currently seeking to add a new Dental Assistant to our team. As a dental assistant at our office, you will be able to achieve your career goals while sharing your passionate, patient-focused approach with a leading dental care practice. This position will require knowledge of preparing patients for procedures, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up rooms for each procedure. This position will be primarily a hygiene assistant; there will be some cross over with assisting the dentist. Understand dental terminology and properly give thorough explanations of dental procedures to patients. Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients. Provide pre and post-operative instructions for each procedure. Assist hygienist in seating patients, taking xrays, polishing and other tasks. Assist dentist in management of medical and dental emergencies. Dentrix software experience is beneficial.
