Job Overview We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk/Biller to serve as the welcoming face of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently. As a key point of contact for visitors and clients, you will ensure smooth front office operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support various administrative functions to maintain an organized and professional environment. Billing experience in HMO, PPO, and Denti-cal. Responsibilities Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression at all times. Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, directing calls accurately and courteously. Handle scheduling tasks such as calendar management and appointment setting. Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records and correspondence. Support office management activities including supply inventory, basic bookkeeping and organizing files. Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally via phone or in person. Verify insurance, confirm patients, and payment processing. Assist with clerical duties such as typing, photocopying, and maintaining an organized front desk area. Demonstrate strong organizational skills and time management to prioritize daily tasks effectively. Utilize computer literacy skills to operate office software efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette while managing incoming calls and messages with clarity and professionalism. Submit accurate insurance claims using correct procedure codes. Experience Previous office experience or clerical experience is highly desirable, with a demonstrated ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently. Proven customer service skills with experience as a dental front desk or reception role is required. Experience with multi-line phone systems, calendar management, data entry and filing. Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse client populations. Strong organizational skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Experience in billing and CDT billing codes. Experience in personal assistant roles or office management positions will be considered an asset.
