Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing using systems like Meditech, Epic, or eClinicalWorks Manage patient check-in and check-out processes while ensuring accurate documentation review and data entry Answer multi-line phone systems promptly with excellent phone etiquette and assist with patient inquiries Maintain organized dental records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for health information management Support office management tasks including filing, appointment reminders, and updating patient care plans Requirements Proven experience as a Medical or Dental Receptionist with clinic or dental office experience Strong knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft Familiarity with medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), insurance verification, and Medicare processes Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in typing (10 key typing) Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and health information management standards Prior experience handling medical scheduling, intake procedures, and front desk administrative support Join us to make a difference in patientsâ lives by providing outstanding service in a fast-paced dental environment.
