Work Hours: Monday Wednesday Thursday 7:15-4:30 Tuesday 7:15-6:00 Friday 7:15-12:30 At Keystone Dental Care, we are dedicated to providing access and good oral health to patients, with a focus on prevention. Keystone will pay for your EFDA education upon completing the program! Responsibilities of the Dental Assistant include: assisting the dentist and hygienists with procedures, preparation and sterilization of instruments/equipment, capturing radiographs, providing knowledge of oral hygiene instruction/education to patients, maintaining patient records, inventory, ensuring tidiness of treatment areas, maintaining patient flow, reception, and assisting the rest of the dental team in expediting patient care whenever possible, while performing other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school graduate or GED required. One year experience as a dental assistant or one-year dental assisting school required. Able and willing to learn, to expand abilities and to grow with the facility. LICENSES and CERTIFICATION: Certification in Dental Radiology in the state of Pennsylvania. Current CPR certification.
