Dental Hygienist (Part-time) - Drum Point Family & Implant Dentistry - Township Of Brick, NJ

Our office is looking for a friendly reliable Dental Hygienist to join our team. Hygienists are given 50 minute appointments with 1.5 hrs for new patients. Local anesthesia permit preferred but not required. Mondays Wednesdays & Thursdays. (typically 8:30-5:30). No nights or weekends. Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take dental x-rays - Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental, CDR, or other dental software systems - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment - Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventive measures - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Experience: - Proficiency in using Open Dental, CDR, or other dental software systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
