Key Responsibilities Perform thorough dental hygiene procedures including scaling, root planing, and polishing. Take high-quality digital dental radiographs. Assess and chart periodontal health and document findings accurately. We use Open Dental software. Apply preventative materials such as topical fluorides and sealants. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive home care, and treatment options. Maintain strict sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols. Qualifications Active and valid Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene License. Current CPR certification. Strong clinical, communication, and patient-management skills.
