Responsibilities Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions with precision and compassion Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans Utilize dental terminology accurately to explain diagnoses and treatment options to patients in an understandable manner Execute complex procedures such as root canal therapy, dental fabrications, and prosthodontics with attention to detail Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and medical records Document all patient interactions, treatments, and medical imaging accurately in electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and other specialties to enhance clinical skills and service offerings Skills Proficiency in using dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures Ability to assess patient needs effectively and deliver compassionate care tailored to pediatric patients and general dentistry cases Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and the use of dental fabrication tools for restorations and prostheses Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment plans clearly while maintaining professionalism at all times Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements for safeguarding patient information and maintaining accurate medical documentation Join us in making a difference by providing exceptional dental care in a vibrant environment that encourages professional growth.
