The Djawdan Center for Implant & Restorative Dentistry is a boutique, fee-for-service implant and restorative practice in Annapolis, Maryland, seeking an associate dentist to join our team in a growth-oriented role. About Our Practice At The Djawdan Center, we focus on adult dentistry for patients who are seeking more than a procedure. Our work includes: Dental implants Full-arch reconstruction Advanced restorative dentistry Cosmetic dentistry IV sedation Comprehensive treatment planning Our practice has grown intentionally over the past several years. We moved into a larger facility with six operatories , incorporated hygiene three days per week , and built an in-house digital design studio and dental laboratory with a dedicated lab technician, design software, milling, 3D printing, and ceramic capabilities. Dr. Kian Djawdan is a board-certified oral implantologist with extensive experience in both the surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry. He is Kois trained and provides advanced implant treatment, full-arch reconstruction, complex restorative care, and IV sedation within the practice. For the right associate, this is an opportunity to grow in a highly collaborative clinical environment with mentorship, strong systems, advanced technology, and an experienced team. Role Overview This position is structured to begin with foundational responsibilities and expand over time. Initial focus may include: Hygiene exams and patient continuity Restorative diagnosis and treatment planning Problem-focused and limited emergency visits Same-day and next-day restorative care Crowns, direct restorations, inlays/onlays, and cosmetic dentistry Surgical extractions, grafting, implant restoration, and single-tooth implant care depending on experience and clinical alignment Dr. Djawdan will continue to lead complex surgical procedures, IV sedation cases, zygomatic implants, full-arch reconstruction, and advanced comprehensive implant treatment. The associate role is designed to complement this work by growing within the restorative, cosmetic, hygiene, extraction, grafting, single-tooth implant, and patient-continuity side of the practice. The right candidate has enough experience to understand what they want to move toward: Better dentistry Stronger patient relationships More comprehensive care Clinical growth within a high-quality private practice Experience Ideally, candidates will have approximately 3–5 years of experience , which may include: A General Practice Residency Private practice experience Experience in another clinical setting that has helped clarify their goals Prior exposure to restorative dentistry, surgical extractions, grafting, cosmetic dentistry, implant restoration, or single-tooth implant care is a plus. A strong interest in continuing to grow in these areas is highly valued. We are especially interested in a clinician who is ready to move toward a more comprehensive, relationship-based, fee-for-service model of care where quality, communication, trust, and long-term outcomes matter. Compensation & Schedule Our practice operates Monday through Thursday . We are open to a flexible start for the right candidate, including beginning with 1–2 days per week if that allows for a thoughtful transition. We are also open to a fuller schedule from the start for a candidate who is prepared and aligned for that opportunity. This role is intended to grow into a more substantial associate position, with the potential for a four-day clinical workweek as demand builds and the role develops. Compensation includes a $1,000 daily guarantee during the initial onboarding phase , with percentage-based growth opportunity as the role develops.
