Responsibilities Expose and process digital dental X-rays, including 3D scans when necessary, while adhering to proper aseptic techniques and radiation safety guidelines. Manage patient records ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment by following infection control protocols and ensuring all dental tools are properly sterilized. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation. Requirements Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is required. Proficiency with Open Dental. Dental terminology, and infection control practices essential for accurate assistance and documentation. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while maintaining aseptic technique; certification in radiography is required. Strong understanding of medical coding and documentation standards related to dental procedures and medical records management. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate seamlessly with the dental team.
