Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Putnam, CT
We are a busy family practice in Northeastern CT, looking for a dental assistant 4 and 1/2 days a week. We practice modern dentistry using digital x-rays, an intra-oral scanner and electronic charting. We are a hard-working team looking for additional members to join us. Duties will include welcoming and seating patients, reviewing medical histories, taking x-rays, assisting with dental procedures. We are looking for someone who is able to multitask, follow instructions, consistently work at a steady pace and be comfortable with computers. Excellent communication and people skills are a must. Requirements: Ability to create and update patient charts Assist in procedures including: restorative, crown and bridge, extractions and simple root canals. Possibility for assisting in implants in the future (willing to train). Set up/ break down operatories Sterilize instruments and equipment Stocking supplies Additional responsibilities may arise as part of a team environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance License reimbursement On-the-job training Uniform allowance Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Putnam, CT 06260 (Required) Work Location: In person
