What We're Looking For Dental assisting experience required Pediatric dental experience preferred Cross-trained dental assistant experience strongly preferred Familiarity with treatment planning and patient education preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to maintain a professional and child-friendly environment Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Must enjoy working with children and helping families feel comfortable and confident during their visits Responsibilities Assist the doctor during dental procedures Prepare and maintain treatment rooms Take dental radiographs as permitted by state regulations Provide exceptional patient care and customer service Educate patients and parents regarding treatment recommendations and oral health Support treatment plan discussions and scheduling when appropriate Maintain accurate clinical records Follow all OSHA and infection control protocols Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture Why Join Blue Jay Pediatric Dentistry?
