Oral Surgery Dental Assistant (West LA) - Wilshire Oral Surgery and Implant Center - Los Angeles, CA

We are Wilshire Oral Surgery and Implant Center, an established and very busy oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in the West Los Angeles/Brentwood area. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our back-office team. Friendliness, professionalism, and working well with others is a must. The Front office will require help at times, so telephone etiquette and computer efficiency is required. Must have excellent social and customer service skills. Duties include but are not limited to: - Assist in general anesthesia, local procedures and consultations - Monitoring and recovery of patients - Taking x-rays and CBCT scans - Sterilize instruments/ set up surgical trays / Turn over operative rooms - Discuss pre- and post-operative care - Review patient medical history, obtain vital signs and radiographs Qualifications: Experience in assisting oral surgery GA cases highly preferred Current California certification in radiography Current BLS (CPR) certification preferred OMSA preferred The position is immediately available and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
