Dental Assistant - Primary Teeth Pediatric Dentistry - Gloversville, NY

We are a pediatric dental practice with a compassionate team that is dedicated to treating children. We are looking for a full time dental assistant, with pediatric experience preferable, but not required. Patience and compassion are key factors that we are looking for. You should have the ability to engage with a child and make them feel comfortable in the dental chair. Tasks around the office include: Calling back and seating patients Breaking down and setting up rooms or exams or operative procedures Being able to run all parts of the sterilization Assisting the doctor and hygienist with exams and cleanings Assisting the doctor with operative appointments and sedations Ability to answer phones and schedule appointments when needed Taking digital x-rays: bitewings, pas, and panoramics If you are a licensed (Registered Dental Assistant in the State of NY) in good active standing, you will also start with an increase in salary if you travel with the Doctor to the surgical centers with him on select days.
