Dental Assistant (RDA Preferred) – Covina, CA
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing multi-specialty practice in Covina. We are looking for a team player who enjoys providing excellent patient care and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a wide variety of procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photographs
- Perform chairside assisting for restorative, crown, bridge, implant, endodontic, oral surgery, periodontal, and pediatric dental procedures
- Fabricate temporary crowns and take digital impressions
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions
Qualifications:
- California Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant preferred
- X-ray certification required
- Experience in both pediatric and general dentistry preferred
- Excellent communication and patient service skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
- Ability to work well with a team
- Experience with Open Dental and digital dentistry is a plus
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
- No weekends
