Dental Receptionist/Assistant We are a team of dedicated dental professionals who would like to welcome your friendly, compassionate personality to our office as a front office receptionist/dental assistant. This position is approximately 30 hours per week. We are open 8am-6pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with half days on some Wednesday and Fridays. We work primarily with PPOs and have wonderful patients you will enjoy working with. Our office is conveniently located in Tempe with easy access from the 101. The job involves a mix of primarily "front office" activities (checking patients in/out, answering phone calls, verifying insurance eligibility) with some "back office" activities (seating patients, preparing rooms and instruments, etc). Some previous dental experience is helpful, but not necessary. We can train you as needed, but being comfortable speaking with people in-person and over the phone is essential. This position is perfect for someone interested in exploring dental assisting or the dental field in general. Several people who began at this position have continued on to become full dental assistants and hygienists.
