About our practice: -Private practice with owner doctor fully present -Family Dentistry-Focused on quality care -Digital workflow Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make clinical procedures as smooth as possible and patient experience as great as possible. Responsibilities Take necessary x-rays Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Assist doctor chairside in all procedures Sterilize instruments according to regulations Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Skills Dental assistant competent in taking x-rays Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus Ability to assist chairside in general dentistry procedures Good computer skills Excellent communication, people and phone skills Multi-task capable with an attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Team Player Licensed RDA Dental insurance knowledge is a plus Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental allowance Paid time off Professional development assistance Bonus System Holiday Pay Schedule: 8 hour shift Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: On-the-job training Paid time off Work Location: In person
