Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a critically important utility player supporting the lead front desk when needed and the lead chairside assistant when needed . The right person is good at both roles even if she is not the best at either role. Text Dr Sfeir 4402130172 or email resume camsfeir@hotmail.com Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix, Weave. Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, extraction and implant treatments with precision and confidence Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments following infection control protocols and aseptic techniques; maintain a clean and organized workspace Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and safety Manage medical documentation accurately by recording vital signs, medical history, and treatment details in electronic systems like Epic or Dentrix Support administrative tasks such as answering phones as a dental receptionist, verifying patient information, and managing medical records efficiently Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical coding, and medical imaging to ensure comprehensive patient care Requirements Proven experience in dental assisting with familiarity in chairside assisting across multiple specialties including pediatrics and prosthodontics Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with Epic is a plus Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, X-ray procedures, and medical terminology necessary for accurate documentation Ability to perform vital signs assessment and operate 3D scanners or other medical imaging equipment when required Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist; able to handle patient inquiries professionally Certification in radiography or X-ray technology preferred; CPR certification is advantageous Flexibility to support four-handed dentistry practices and adapt to various clinical needs in a fast-paced environment TOP PAY, great benefits with no Eves, weekends.
