Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Streetsboro, OH
Overview Looking to hire a Dental Assistant to join our team in treating our wonderful patients. We pride ourself in kindness, treating everyone with respect, and enjoying where we work. Duties Assist dentist with a variety of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery dentistry with precision and professionalism Prepare operatories by setting up, ensuring all supplies are ready for patients, and sterilizing tools and equipment Take and develop dental X-rays while maintaining proper adherence to infection control protocols Manage patient records efficiently using dental management software and ensuring accuracy in documentation and coding Monitor vital signs and medical history of patients to ensure safety during procedures Provide excellent dental reception services by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support four-handed dentistry practices by working seamlessly alongside the dentist to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Learn front desk and billing/insurance coordinator duties (we are cross trained in order to help each other and work as a team) Experience Proven experience working in a dental office with knowledge of dental procedures, verbiage, and protocols Experience with dental assisting including chairside assisting, X-ray taking, and infection control Ability to acquire dental x-ray accurately and efficiently, while adhering to safety standards Previous experience supporting general dentistry or specialized fields like prosthodontics or endodontics is advantageous Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) is a plus We work together to provide excellent dental care while being efficient.
