Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Restore Dental Arts – LaPorte, IN Restore Dental Arts is seeking a skilled and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in our LaPorte office. We are looking for a team member who is passionate about patient care, works well in a collaborative environment, and is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience. Schedule Monday – Wednesday Approximately 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Responsibilities Assist doctors during a variety of dental procedures Place and finish restorative materials within EFDA scope of practice Take digital radiographs and diagnostic images Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation Educate patients on treatment and oral health recommendations Follow infection control and OSHA guidelines Work closely with doctors and team members to ensure efficient patient flow Qualifications Current Indiana EFDA certification required Current Indiana Radiology License required Minimum 1–2 years of dental assisting experience required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Experience with digital dental software is preferred What We Offer Supportive and team-focused work environment Modern dental technology Opportunity to work alongside experienced dental professionals Consistent daytime schedule with no evenings or weekends If you are an experienced EFDA looking for a rewarding opportunity with a growing dental practice, we would love to hear from you.
