Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Hammond Family Dental - Poteau, OK

Full time dental assistant position open for Mon, Tues, Thurs 7:45am- 5pm (lunch 1hour); Wed 7:45-12pm; and Friday 8-12pm; pay is negotiable upon experience Hammond Family Dental has been an established dental practice in Poteau, OK since 1975. We have grown, and moved into a beautiful building with some of the highest dental technology where we focus on quality dental care. Dr. Kendra is the only dentist in our office, and works with 2 highly skilled hygienists. We have committed to providing our community with quality focused dental care,and with knowledge on how we can aid in overall health of our patients. If you feel you would be an asset to our team as a dental assistant, we would need the following qualities/skills: -Outgoing and friendly personality, -Enjoy being in a supportive role, -Be a strong team player, -Be motivated to strive for excellence through quality work and continuing education -Must have registered dental assistant license (Oklahoma preferred) -Must have Xray certification. -Nitrous and coronal polishing is a plus, but not requirement Typical job duties would include: -Xray exposure (digital sensors and digital PANO, CBCT) -Photos (intraoral and extraoral cameras) -Dental software experience (Oryx) -Maintaining a clean and sterile operatory and clinic, including equipment maintenance -Assist dentist in charting, providing treatment, educating patients about their conditions and possible avenues of treatment. -Assist in 3D digital impressions and communication with dental laboratory technicians *If interested please submit resume and brief paragraph describing why you are a perfect fit for this position on indeed AND/OR bring resume in person.
