Position Overview Practice Name: Homoky ImplantFamily Dentistry Location: Port Charlotte, FL Employment Category: Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (4½–5 days per week) Compensation Range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (plus production bonus opportunities) Pay Type: Hourly Key Responsibilities Patient Care: Deliver an exceptional patient experience from greeting to treatment completion. Review medical history, take blood pressure, and maintain accurate patient records. Chairside Assistance: Provide high-quality chairside assistance for general, restorative, and surgical dental procedures. Clinical Tasks: Take, process, and track dental X-rays. Fabricate high-quality temporary restorations and take impressions. SterilizationMaintenance: Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, and rigorously sterilize dental instruments according to proper clinical protocol. TeamworkWorkflow: Support the dentist and team with an efficient workflow, attention to detail, and scheduling assistance. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented team culture. QualificationsSkills Required: EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) certification. Certification/Licensure in: GC (General Chairside), RHS (Radiation Health and Safety), and ICE (Infection Control Exam). Active CPR, BLS, or ACLS certification. Professional, caring, and enthusiastic demeanor. Self-starter who is well-organized, dependable, and possesses excellent communication skills. Preferred: Experience assisting in both restorative and surgical dental procedures (highly preferred). Computer proficiency, with Denticon experience preferred. Strong customer service skills with a patient-focused mindset.
