Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. Duties Greet patients warmly and efficiently check them in and out using dental practice management (Dentrix) Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes Schedule patient appointments accurately Collect payments Review and update patient records ensuring accuracy in documentation review, medical records management, and health information security Answer multi-line phone systems professionally with excellent phone etiquette and assist patients with inquiries or appointment rescheduling Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, file documents appropriately, and support office management tasks as needed Requirements Prior experience in a dental office or medical clinic environment is highly preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, CDT coding Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix is a plus Familiarity with insurance verification processes including Medicare and Medicaid billing procedures Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills (10 key typing) Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations with discretion and professionalism Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and clerical experience Join us to be part of a vibrant team that values your contributions!
